Isn’t it nice when a city greets you with this as you step out of the house? Can I have a nice message written in the sky every morning Sydney? kthxbai! Oh no, not with this bloody rain as of late. Gosh I’m sick of the rain and storm… Ok ok, enough whinging… now the main item of the day.
Aleita below does a fur jacket with simplicity with an awesome bag and nice hat to top it off. I’m still keeping an eye out for that elusive and perfect fur vest, sigh, I suppose I’ll be looking for a while.

I’ve long decided that I lean toward the androgynous look, though only a conscious decision for not so long, but I’m a bit of a tomboy, the androgynous thing has always been a part of my personality. That is not to say I don’t love girly clothes, oh I do, really I do, but it’s just harder for me to carry some of it off. Often I’d try things that I’d been dreaming about for ages and then to find out, they totally don’t work on me. Pleh!
That’s why I love seeing girls who carry off girly looks elegantly, let’s face it, they make me insanely jealous too! Maybe in my next life I can be a girly girl.

Today was well cold! Time to dig them parkas and coats out I think, definitely need a jacket at all times, especially at night now. This crisp autumn air is making me miss New York immensely. It’s not the first time I said that, is it? Ok, I won’t bore you with my ^**&#$^%…
Looks familiar? It’s Zanita whom I photographed on Day 1 of RAFW and posted under Lady lady. She’s just so adorable, isn’t she?!!! That hoodie cape looks so charming and cute on her, the contrast of the pink head band is great too.
This reminds me of the 2nd hand Coach trench cape I scored in NY, hmm yep yep, time to get it out for a whirl. I think the only way to wear a cape is with stockings or leggings, to play up the proportions, even skinny pants seem too much. But what do you think? Are capes the next big thing?
Happy mid week! It all gets easier from here! Says the girl who’s not working this week :p

This post is brought to you tonight by my scalded hand… Yes I dropped a cup of boiling green tea onto my right hand this evening while juggling 2 arms full of bags, camera and a napkin full of Nandos chicken skewers. I swear I must’ve been a blonde in my previous life. It was quite red, painful and swollen, a bit of make shift ice pack and some first aid cream and I’m much better now. Bummer that I had to go home early today and therefore missed 4 shows, boohoohoo. No matter, hope it’ll be better in the morning for the last day of RAFW!!! Goodness, it’s all gone by so quickly!
