I’ve long decided that I lean toward the androgynous look, though only a conscious decision for not so long, but I’m a bit of a tomboy, the androgynous thing has always been a part of my personality. That is not to say I don’t love girly clothes, oh I do, really I do, but it’s just harder for me to carry some of it off. Often I’d try things that I’d been dreaming about for ages and then to find out, they totally don’t work on me. Pleh!

That’s why I love seeing girls who carry off girly looks elegantly, let’s face it, they make me insanely jealous too! Maybe in my next life I can be a girly girl.

It was super windy and I just love the motion blurs in Sara’s skirt and hair, really makes the shot for me.

A quick post to let you all know that I am still alive. Barely perhaps, sore throat, not enough sleep, too much traveling and walking around all day, not enough coffee, not enough vegetables and fruits and definitely missing my boy and Sydney. But alive nonetheless.

I will be traveling around Europe for the next month or so then head off to the US of A! Woot! I will try to bring you some more street fashion from Europe in the mean time, but don’t hold your breath and count on my sore throat. Nothing promised, but I’ll try.

For now, let’s do bold patterns and florals! I went and bought the Christopher Kane for Topshop killer croc dress, how could I resist wearing these giant teeth, awesomeness.

PS. Yesterday I went to the opening of Paris Uniqlo, all for the +J, Jill Sander for Uniqlo collection and I didn’t leave empty handed. I’ve always always liked Jill Sanders designs but like most people, her clothes were of course out of reach but now alas I had a chance and I clutched at it with my 2 little paws.

I took almost a whole afternoon to find and buy the 1 perfect black peacoat thanks to the crazy queues (queues to get in, queues at the changing rooms and then queues at the paying counters). The collection is very Jill Sander, though the trench coats and skirts didn’t excite me much, but coats and jackets though are perfect for this season.

I am officially happy and ready to hit the NY winter now :D

From polished designer high fashion to my crazy space outfit, now I bring you to the other side of the town, Camden Town. I only very recently discovered it’s about 25 minutes walk from my place, why the hell didn’t I go earlier. Camden is crazy, full on, energetic and just plain awesome. It’s the ultimate place for clashes of fashion, from gothic lolitas, to punks, rockabillies, indie kids, high street kids, vintage gals, hip hop boys, it really shouts “youth of Britain today” to me.

Today I went for a stroll again armed with my camera!

Quick post - Camden

Camden market is a huge market that interconnects many sections, with indoor and outdoor space, they sell anything from vintage wear to designer rip offs and everything in between. I found myself a nice little something for £6! More about that another time. Cyberdog is crazy! Rave music turned up loud pumping straight through me, those fluro detective lights that showcase the special ink on their tshirts, robotic mannequins line the walls. Some of the womens clothes were very avant garde, I can see how a piece or 2 combined with high street stuff can become a very edgy and cool outfit. Now why didn’t I go there before my space themed party, oh well, at least I know now for next time.

So here are 2 quick shots from today.

Got to go now, more posts tomorrow! Happy Thursday!

I apologise for the lack of updates in the recent weeks, I’ve been very busy shooting photos, not the street fashion kind, but for various personal creative projects. I promise I’ll get out and bring you more stylish street fashion in the coming weeks, I promise ; )

For now, you can have a look at Mary. I shot her today for one of my various personal creative projects and the outfit she arrived in was fantastic, so I had to also shoot her for street fashion afterwards.

Sweet pink - Darlinghurst

Such a cute outfit, it’s something I’d dress my blythe doll in, it would never work for me, but certainly looks great on Mary.
