Isn’t it funny how much we rely on black? My affair with black didn’t start til I turned 20 and found my metabolism suddenly ground to a holt and I could no longer eat anything I want. I learnt that black is forgiving, slimming, chic, sexy, glamorous and even mysterious. So the number of black garment in my wardrobe grew by leaps and bounds, from 1 or 2 pieces to now a quarter of all my clothes.
Black makes you feel confident, self assured, when you slip into that black dress you know you look good and you feel comfortable in your own skin. Black can also be cute and wispy!
Ladies, black is always the new black.
